Sonos S1 Controller App Reviews

I put a Sonos system in my house, controls everything for my giant screen tv, outdoor speakers, indoor multi-room speaker system and multiple components, and all from an iPad or my cell phone. This is the greatest advance I have every had. I have been an audiophile for many years investing in only top of the line but this system is the greatest.

This app is GREAT!!!!!!!

A recent version of this app started inserting tracks to be played at the beginning of the queue instead of the end. Now when those tracks end, the old contents of the queue starts playing. Its very disconcerting and annoying when some old piece of music or podcast starts playing after the most recent selection finishes. Please go back to the way it worked before.

I never have to worry about it connecting. It just does everything perfectly. L O V E I T!!!

I have had mine around 10 years. Works flawlessly, sounds great, software constantly updated. Highest marks.

Needs more functionality, sleeker design and upgraded cross fader function for cleaner transitions between songs.

Sonos app is fantastic.

Were really enjoying having the Sonos sound system all over the house. Its great! You can control it from your smart phone or other electronic devices. We can play the same music all over the house or different music on any speaker. We love it!

Sonos speakers sound great. The app is easy to use and provides lots of choices through various music services. Nice that you can either group speakers or listen independently. Highly recommended!

The Sonos system is great - unrivaled. The app works extremely well and the developers are very good about listening to feedback. The only thing Id like to see added is a Siri implementation. I think itd be cool to be able to speak "play this song in this room" for example or "add this to the queue."

Been using it for years now, at home, at our office, even on our boat. Super easy to use and being able to play songs from friends phones also is great!

Excellent! Easy to use, and the sound is great. We can get all of the stations and music services with one system, and put it anywhere we wish. Highly recommend.

Id love to echo the positive reviews, but no support for premium services, like TuneIn Premium, is an EPIC fail. I signed up for the premium service to get out of area NFL games. Shame on me for not checking the Sonos website, where it states Sonos doesnt support it. But how stupid is that? It limits me to listening on my iPhone or iPad Pro, instead of my "premium" Sonos sound system. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

The app is pretty great although could maybe be a little easier to link speakers. Thats really about the only complaint I have. Generally the app works pretty seamlessly with the speaker!

I have placed sonos speakers in our kitchen, dining room, three in the living room and we are using the sonos connect to power our patio speakers through our receiver. I have owned the system for over a year and have never had a song drop out or stop playing. App works great as well and everyone in my family with the app can control the music and adjust the volume of each speaker individually as needed.

Its a great system. I have 2 play 1s on my patio & a play 3 inside the house. Its great when we have parties and can play separate music in each zone! They could be a little cheaper, but Sonos is a great product!

Had my Sonos speakers for over 3 years and continue to believe it was the best decision ever. The only thing Id like to see added is the ability to play YouTube through the Sonos. The total flexibility to add multiple speakers and subs means the system can be adapted to any room/home configuration.

I have had Sonos for two years now and find it is the best solution. I also have a NuVo system that is a waste of money compared to the features with the Sonos system. Keep up the good work.

The speakers are terrific but the interface is confusing, ill designed and needs the kiss principle.... keep it simple.... dont restrict the songs I know I have on my office Mac which isnt home with me at the time....
